SUZANNE PFISTER
President

Suzanne is the founder of The BettyFlies Foundation, and the eldest daughter of Betty Haas Pfister. Suzanne was born and raised in Aspen, Colorado. She grew up on a ranch at the base of the Buttermilk Ski Area with her parents and two younger sisters. She raised two sons and was very active on the Board of Directors for both the Wildwood School and the Aspen Education Foundation when her children were young.

Throughout her adult life, Suzanne has remained involved in the Aspen community. She has been a real estate broker since 1999 with the Pitkin Land Company and also owned and operated a successful property management company.She has always been very much a part of our vital and growing valley and remains passionate about giving back to the town where she grew up. Suzanne is an avid paddler, skier, and hiker. She loves the Aspen area and still calls the Roaring Fork Valley home.


JOSHUA ALEXANDER
Vice President

Joshua brings a lifelong passion for aviation to The BettyFlies Foundation. His grandfather owned an Aircraft brokerage in Chicago and helped him log his first hours at 9 years old in their family Cessna T-210 and C-150. In high school he detailed aircraft for the family business and spent any spare time at the local airport. He holds Private, Instrument, Multi-engine and Seaplane ratings. Joshua’s professional background is in sales and has over 20 years of experience in the in high-end automobile and aircraft industries. He lives in Aspen, Colorado with his wife Allison and his daughter Sloane. Sloan at age nine, is one of our youngest BettyFliers!


SUE O’BRYAN
Secretary

Sue is of counsel with Alpine Legal Services, and a Partner at OSC Law & Mediation. Starting her career as an electrical engineer, she eventually obtained MBA and law degrees, and worked as a Patent Attorney for the prestigious Ackerman Senterfitt law firm in Palm Beach, Florida. Seeking a better quality of life, Sue and her family relocated to Aspen in 2004 where she joined Alpine Legal Services, allowing her to pursue her passion for helping those less fortunate in the areas of domestic violence, family law, and Elder issues.

Sue is now transferring her extensive experience practicing law and litigation into focusing primarily on Mediation, with a specialization in all aspects of Family Law. She has completed formal training in Mediation, including working with the Jeffco Mediation Program in Golden, Colorado. Moreover, Sue has completed formal training in Collaborative Divorce Law with a focus to minimize trauma and suffering on families going through transition by employing alternative, humane approaches, such as Collaborative Law and Mediation.

Sue is the mother of two adult children, Secretary of the Board of Aspen Words, and enjoys the gamut of activities available in our beautiful valley. 


NICOLE MCLEOD
Tresurer

Nicole has over 10 years of experience as a CFO in the private aviation industry, specifically with charter companies, fixed base operators and FAA certified maintenance facilities. Nicole was instrumental in the success of a 250% growth of a privately held business aviation operator in Colorado. She also secured funding for a multi-million-dollar hangar development and business expansion of an aviation startup company in southern California. Nicole holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and has completed Master’s in accountancy level coursework at Regis University. She is Founder and President of Flatiron Management Consultants, working with startup companies and established businesses in the aviation, real estate, and retail industries, providing financial and capital management, financial reporting and analysis, and cash modeling. Nicole and her family live in Longmont, CO.


JEANNE DAILEY ANDLINGER

Jeanne has lived in Aspen for many years. She now splits her time between Aspen and New York City, but remains an active support of both local and national philanthropic causes. Jeanne is an active member of the Concussion Legacy Advisory Board, the Explore’s Club, the Eye to Eye Dyslexic Advisory Advocate, and the Jed Foundation Advisory Board. She is a sailor, a cyclist and an adventurer.
